ITs great isn’t it. It’s more satisfying to see them play with something you lovingly made then something you just picked up one day.

You are so sweet to say that. Funny thing about toys I make … they never look like a mess when they are out. They look like they belong.
Thanks for coming by.

Thanks! It’s easy. I started it a few years back….before that I mostly just needlefelted and dollmade the toys….anyway, I started making the animals for the kids nature table…then a Christmas scene….Easter… and its just grew.
My favorite is when they make a drawing and I turn it into an actual toy….my least favorite is making the cell phones…. pretty ironic or strange to have “natural” wood cell phone! But they love them and I pull one out of the laundry about every other week.

Are you kidding me? Did you use a router saw all by yourself? I am impressed.
I am always impressed when I see how you do so much with your time, and you have so many kids. I feel so lazy.
Oh you are sweet. No I just sketch them out. The “templates” are all running around the barn and pasture. Although our horses are much prettier then the naglike horse I drew.
No one other then my kids has ever really seen all the toys I make…so I never really thought others would think much of them. You are sweet.

Hello and welcome my name is T (like the drink)
I strive to raise my 8 kids the best I can possibly do...most days I actually come close. I like to talk about birth, adoption, Guatemala, gardening and teaching. We are currently trying to infuse the kids with being more selfless and more globally aware. This journal will reflect this.
Please stop in at the comments and say hi.

Don’t have a wordless Wednesday….but I love what you made….so sweet….I love the simplicity….the joy of two little ones enjoying the gift.
Oh thanks, I make tons of toys. I think they have more meaning then the store bought.

That is such a special thing. How lovely and meaningful for your children! What a true love offering.

I love your animals. Do you have a pattern for them you’d be willing to share?
