Taking it all in.
I stand in a throne room of intense power with the
waves of glory crashing in front of me.
Intimidating me and daring me.
Enticing me and scaring me.
I wait at the edge of this throne room.
The span and depth of it all keeps me still and in awe.
The power of it all too much
An unbalancing that will sweep me to my knees
not of grief but of amazement
A power which forces the ocean to bow forever in adoration
So I stand watching the waves bow low till they are nothing more then a
million tiny bubbles meshed together like a clean robe.
I take steps forward
The fabric like surf swirls around my ankles
covering and erasing the steps I have taken
I want even more then what I came with
so I stand
Waiting to just touch the hem of tHis garmet.
I love the picture painted…both in words and picture…of the water cleansing…erasing the steps…making all new…always ready to come.
Blessings on your vacation…
Oh thanks…. we are having quite an eventful trip so far…. sharks, earthquakes , Hurricane a comin…sheesh…. and just before this I heard the life guards whistles going (I back at the house with the sleeping baby) …I look out to see the lifeguards diving in front of our family and our umbrella….My heart was stopped until I could make out my 6 little heads playing in the sand alongside their dad. The lifeguards pulling an unfamiliar person ashore.
Quite the adventure! Makes for good blogging (Shrug)

Yes, yes, yes . . . I have felt those same things at the water’s edge. But you have put words to them so eloquently . . . covering and erasing . . . “What can wash away my sin, nothing but the blood of Jesus.
It does indeed sound like an awesome adventure. So good to know your personal lifeguard is always on duty.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving your footprints . . . these ones won’t get erased!
Thank you , you are so sweet to say so.
