According to our massive DK Ocean book… this is a sand tiger shark. According to the book the mother has many embryos, in her two uterusus, and the embryos fight to the death and the strongest two live to be born! Yikes. This one had been caught at least twice by the looks of the other hook in its’ mouth. The fisherman said he had caught a much bigger one the day before.
