Dawn Patrol
September 24, 2011
These ladies are the early morning Dawn Patrol. They take care of eating the tics and any small bugs and worms. They roost with the others in the barn at night… but during the day they manage to squeeze out and walk freely. It’s not the smartest thing to do as the Dawn Patrol sometimes becomes fox fodder.

Lol. Is this post done?
Gollee yes it’s done. I mean if you want done done you will have to wait till the dawn patrol actually becomes fox fodder.
But for now… This is just a simple slice of life post. Can’t I get a little Marty stauffer wild kingdom in my blog?
Lol

Busybodies, those biddies!
Very cute and do you use the eggs?
Oh we sure do.
In the spring and summer when we have an abundance of eggs…my son sells them at the local organic stand.
Thanks for stopping by!

Thank you for sharing the view from your farm. 🙂
Waving hello from our farm in northwest Iowa. (And thanks for the recent visit to GDWJ. And no, the barbed-wire isn’t new. ~smile~)
