Stand Still!

September 26, 2011

Stop fighting the next step. Stop kicking to keep your hurt.

Every step is making you flinch.

Stand Still.

He knows how to take it all away.

It will go so much easier if you stand still and just allow all that to go away.

You will walk so much more surefooted without all this tripping you up

He knows what He is doing.

He has done this before.

You aren’t his first rodeo.

You will walk in pain if you refuse.

If you fight it you will only be tied up tight.

Restrained and ending up exhausted.

But if you stand still…mature in the knowledge that He is skilled.

You will walk and not stumble

When it is all over you will only be missing what you didn’t need anyway.

That crap you were walking in?  All scraped away.

You will be left fresh footed and healthy.

Just be still.

Receive.

Here we are again at the start of a Wonderful Week… So much to be Thankful for…lets start with just a few to get us going…

  1. A campfire with wonderful friends and musicians
  2. Warm baby feet lit by firelight…so cute.
  3. Family dinner
  4. The baby’s fever going down after a night of sleeping near the hot little ember.
  5. An awesome husband who grabs my hand in the night, over the feverish little baby.
  6. Going to a party to bring awareness to human trafficking (more on this later this week!!)
  7. The start of a new Peaceful Learning week.
  8. A good group of people to gather with on Sunday mornings.
  9. Whispering the Be Glorified in every situation…because that is His will be done
  10. Livestock tended and looking good.
  11. Harvest in full swing!
