Keep Moving

October 10, 2011

You tell me to “Keep Moving“… bring what I have

You have learned that nothing is worth not receiving… so come along …keep moving

I know that it’s the willing who receive and I stand up tall while bowing low and vow ,

“I am willing”

The “Keep Moving” sometimes feels like I have one shoe on and hobbling to keep up and get the other shoe on

my arm spinning behind me trying to get in my jacket…

Keep Moving.

It’s not stopping….The willing must Keep Moving.

Keep Moving up.

I look around trying to perceive how many are walking in the Movement.

How many willing to receive?

I don’t want anyone to be left behind. When these thoughts keep me up at night and I toss and turn…

wanting no one to be left behind I fall restless and exhausted coming to the obvious…

“just You be Glorified, ” I whisper into the darkness.

Lost at the  end of the bed; Rest like a blanket pulled up .

With morning everywhere it’s back to the “Keep Moving”
bad moods can come too…

that would be my baggage…but I must carry this while we “Keep Moving.”
We have free choice.  We can take them or leave them…some days I with white knuckles drag it stubborn.

If nothing is worth not receiving…

then these bad moods we carry, unbalancing our steps, are too heavy for the Keep Moving.

Like buckets of wet mud, He lets us bring them… He knows we will drop them…if only we Keep Moving long enough,

we will realize how worthless the heavy buckets are…how tiresome in the Keep Moving.

Receive.
May He be Glorified.
Keep Moving.

My church has been doing a sermon series on Move. If we don’t move, we become stagnant…and stinky!! 😉

This post is outrageously encouraging …I love ‘Like buckets of wet mud, He lets us bring them… He knows we will drop them’!
What a very loving and gracious God we have!

good post. just don’t let the lines get too blurry. I am your sister and I am there to catch you if you fall….just as soon as I get done pointing and laughing (even though I didn’t laugh when you ate it in Tennesee…big slippery rock…coming up!)

      oh that was horrible.
I am just glad my camera is okay.
Come to think about it I don’t think I even ever used the shot that caused that fall.
      dumb.

Oh, T, this was beautiful! I loved this so much: “if only we Keep Moving long enough, we will realize how worthless the heavy buckets are…how tiresome in the Keep Moving.” Amen! I have dragged my fair share of buckets. I love the heavy THUD when I finally let go!

Thank you for sharing your inspired post today.
