Grateful Thanksgiving.

November 25, 2011

So today’s word is Grateful….

I am Grateful no one got hurt yesterday.. as we were all trying to get ready to go to Thanksgiving Lunch at my moms.. that copper penny headed kid starts wrestling around with his brother…with a toothpick in his mouth…Well after we pulled it out of the roof of his mouth and stopped the bleeding he sat whimpering on Time-Out…

I am really grateful that all this Grateful training in my life made me refrain from freaking out when all the christmas cookie decorations poured out of the cabinet when I reached for the cornstarch…

Super grateful the blond headed boy grabbed a broom and started sweeping after whispering to another kid, “momma’s taking pictures of a huge mess.”

I am Grateful my sister brought a fun game yesterday…. what a time sitting around the table laughing our heads off as we tried to figure out the clues.

I am grateful my husband is in charge of the Turkey… but really grateful my daughter wanted to make the pies this year… and let me tell you… she may only be 9 years old but they were the best pumpkin pies we have ever had!

I am Grateful all of the children and adults had such a great time.

And finally I am grateful for people in the blog world that I can acknowledge with a little award....here.

If you linked up with Gypsy Mama today..please leave a comment so I can find my way back to you and read what you have written…

      Yes, Richelle,
My thoughts also. 2nd Cor 9:8 (aseedinspired) And God [is] able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all [things], may have an abundance for every good work.

It really makes you appreciate how slowly you should talk to some of our family members…

What a great collection of memories!
I especially loved picturing your sons commenting on you taking a picture of the big mess, and then cleaning it up.

Better than freaking out over it!! 🙂

It was funny as i was crouched down taking the photo and the boys whispering…
      Lol
Probably one of those things I will hear about when they are older.

I too am SO grateful the toothpick episode didn’t end in tragedy. Sometimes, it’s almost like they want to see how badly they can get hurt, I swear! Glad everybody had a good Thanksgiving.
