Vote for Freedom.

November 28, 2011

~

So much money….women laughing and spending. Everyone dripping in bracelets and jewelry…
Decadence.
Each of us there to vote.
We vote more then once…with each dollar …each penny we vote.

We vote to stop the vicious cycle of child slavery…
We vote as families to keep other families together.
We vote with every laugh and every tear and we back it up with the universal ballot of dollars and cents.

Those dollars and cents which were paid to buy and enslave…
We use to bless and set free.
To set Them free.
Those captives in cages and chained to beds…drugged.
We vote to set the captives free.
We can not be there to kick down the doors and help our sisters …those children… So we vote.
We pour into a system which can kick in the doors we can’t reach.

This time of year I walk the malls and the stores with my ballots…each one a vote for a candidate :

big business…local economy…small farms..charities …young entrepreneurs.

The place where my ballot means the most to me..the place where it helps the most is W.A.R. International…

there I know I can vote for what I believe in…true freedom from slavery.

Please look in the comments section of these two posts to see real people involved in the W.A.R. International:
Going to W.A.R
Thread’s of Hope

Christmas is right around the corner. Time for parties and other get togethers…

Would you please ….please think about having a W.A.R. party in your home? church? club?
Please check out their site and get involved.
Getting involved and throwing a party.
W.A.R. International.
W.A.R. Store.

And in full disclosure I receive nothing from WAR international for these posts…I was at another W.A.R. international party over the weekend and seeing the work they do in other countries…and our own..(Yes we have massive human trafficking problems in this country!)reminds me what they do is so important to the world I am bringing my children up in and at this time of year with families suffering all over the world..with cages full of slaves.. I want to be able to get the word out on how we can impact…how we can change the world we live in…~T

So much to be thankful for right now… let me just share a few:
1.) no more dead mice…gross…knowing I don’t need to center on sin..just grow closer to Him.
2.)a family fun Thanksgiving
3.)warm enough to still take long Nature Walks on Sunday.
4.)knitting with sissybutt
5.)listening to my husband play really good drums Sunday morning.
6.)getting to paint every Sunday morning and learn all at the same time.
7.)telling someone “you have to stop” ie. standing up for myself to someone who was snowballing me.
8.)good food and friends always filling the house on Sunday..all day.
9.)figuring out my new camera…and loving it…just absolutely falling in love loving it.
10.)Advent starting…time centering on what is born in all of us.
11.)good night sleep
12.)tea always tea
13.)That HE would talk to me everyday…I mean every day? Amazing.
14.)my great readers…friends for sure.
15.)Hearing Mer say, “I got an 86%!…can someone tell me if that’s good…is it good?…someone tell me!” as she races from sister to sister with a excited tone.
