Reflecting and Rambling…

Leading someone to salvation… and having a baby unassisted (without a doctor or midwife) have some similarities.

For one…most people take these issues to someone else…a pastor, clergy or a doctor,midwife or someone they deem “more qualified”.

So when you step out…and I have in both situations….and take matters into your own hands…people don’t always know how to respond, it’s not what they would have done… they would have gone to someone.

We are built to hear from God. But we all are called to go out and make disciples…(verse here).
Speaking only on salvation… It is not just for “people more led”…or rather…

You
are
led.
You
are
called.

All you have to do is show up in peoples lives… you speak with willingness…and it will happen…. or maybe it won’t …

but your obedience is important.

Because your God isn’t condemning you…. But He is waiting.

Waiting for willingness.

It’s never been just about me.. or you…It’s about something so much bigger.

So much more ramblings going on…I would love to share more. There is so much more. Like what God told me to tell Chris later that day… and how it struck him and made him smile.But that would be a whole ‘nother post….. How I didn’t know it then, when I talked with Chris, but he wouldn’t work here another day and he finished our job that day. How his very next construction job was at one of the missionaries we are supporting at our charity event! How that morning I was feeling so overwhelmed by the idea of a “baby Christian”… and there Chris was at the same time praying with one of the strongest men of God I know. funny right?
So much more to share… but time..blasted time…so bear with me you wonderful readers as I muddle through the preparations for this huge event I am trying to accomplish…. I would invite you all if I could.~T
