One Night to Give.

December 19, 2011

So much putting-back-in-it’s-place to be done.  Last night was a wonderful blur.

All I can be is Grateful.

1.)A Season which demands we turn our heads towards Giving.

2.) Blessed Family who happily show up to a night of Giving.

3.)Wonderful Friends who Give…and then come to our home and Give more.

4.)Pinterest for giving me ideas for Santa Brownies… and Pear Vanilla-tinis

5.)Costco having chicken meatballs…we went through 5 boxes, lol… and they are gluten free!

6.)My friends who come and welcome my guests as warmly as I would.

7.)The same friends who bring two teenage baby sitters to keep an eye on the children.

8.)Sister in law (to be) who shows up early to assemble and plate tons of food.

9.)A brother who once was a bartender …that is very handy! 🙂

10.)Friends who would travel the world to sit and share the Truth.

11.) A husband who would hire my favorite band in the whole world to play In.My. House…in my house!  I swear there is a room in heaven that just plays their music…and as of last night I got to experience that in a room …IN.MY. HOUSE!

12.)Sharing the Presence with everyone.

13.) Get their new FREE Christmas Song…HERE.

14.) Hearing them play We Three Kings… and realizing we are all just the wise-enough who are seeking to worship.

~

15.) Looking over during my favorite Sister Brother song, …and seeing Yen in total worship…in a crowd full..just her face, eyes closed in communion…(see I told you there is a room in heaven that just plays their music…you just feel it)

16.) Watching Ash sitting  playing his “air drums”… just imagining himself as one of his favorite drummers (Andy)…who was In.His.House. playing drums…who has it better then these kids, lol?!

17.) Boxes full, on a central Giving table,  of donations for different organizations.

If you want to chat…I would love to in the comments…Thanks for bearing with me this week while I got everything ready…It was all worth it! It all went so well.~T

mmm, still relishing in the sweetness that was last night and not just those yummy pear-vanilla-tinis:)
We were blessed by your willingness to listen to the voice of God and follow His leading to offer the space He has given you to call home, opening it to others , so that we can give back with open hands the treasures He has entrusted to us. So blessed to call you my friend, sincerely and truly, so blessed!!!!

well I hope to listen more closely to His voice more often…some times I doubt He talks to me as much as He does…but I am trying.
The words you told me right before you left were the words of my heart. So thanks for affirming that in me.
You , my friend, are an awesome new gift to me.

I like how you clarify denise with a W….in case I confuse her with someone else eating with a teensy fork…funny you and I notice the same things in a crowd of 50 some people.
      I think everyone looked great..
      Thanks for the compliments
