It is Already Provided

January 23, 2012

I heard him speak in my kitchen on a Sunday night …

“its probably not God’s will for you to have an anxiety attack… but if it is…

then He will provide for you in that moment.

So armed with that truth …

I gathered my camera and went into the city…

past all the traffic jams and construction …past all the getting lost and wrong turns ,

past all the things which trap and ensnare you far away from safety,

right into the unknown.

~

When you show a lie The Truth
it has no choice but to flee.
Even when you stand on wobbly legs in the middle of the unknown….
you are still standing, wobbly or not  on the Promise of Provision …so it has to flee.

She made art in my kitchen… she didn’t know an art show was already provided for in her future.

But she stood right there in what once was her future…but now it is her present.

There she stood all provision having waited for her.

Because that is what He does…

He knows where you are going..and what you will do…

and what you will need when you get there.

He is providing before you even knew you needed it.

So walk ahead knowing that the God who died for all the sins you would ever commit…

is also the God standing in all the moments you would ever need Him in.

Nehemiah 8:9-12
The Message (MSG)
9 Nehemiah the governor, along with Ezra the priest and scholar and the Levites who were teaching the people, said to all the people, “This day is holy to God, your God. Don’t weep and carry on.” They said this because all the people were weeping as they heard the words of The Revelation.

10 He continued, “Go home and prepare a feast, holiday food and drink; and share it with those who don’t have anything: This day is holy to God. Don’t feel bad. The joy of God is your strength!”

11 The Levites calmed the people, “Quiet now. This is a holy day. Don’t be upset.”

12 So the people went off to feast, eating and drinking and including the poor in a great celebration. Now they got it; they understood the reading that had been given to them.

(more tomorrow… please visit again to see!!)

So much to be Thankful for… I will start with a few:
1.) Great friends and family all day long yesterday.
2.) An art show on Friday which was laced with unexpected spiritual experiences.
3.) Strong anointing fighting with a static-y confusion….either way people were fed.
4.) The Joy of the Lord being our strength …is realizing that there will be bad times in life but He is providing all the while.
5.) Kids who dig into Monday morning schooling before me… and are eager to get it done and go sledding.
6.) Babies who sleep in.
7.) A husband who leaves a love note by my tea.
8.) A sister who can make a salad to feed the masses!
9.) warm stacks of firewood
10.)Seeing husbands (including mine) who beam love for their wives.
11.)honestly…snow… I am so glad we finally have some winter with all the fun of snow.
12.)Children piling up in the kitchen with bright red checks and messy hat hair oohing and ahhing over hot chocolate after sledding
13.)New art bought and ready to be hung
14.)Having the best doctor I know handy yesterday ,when someone needed it.

interesting what might be a jolly good time for some people is a logistical nightmare for others, but somethings that make my hands sweat and heart palpitate are a swinging breeze for you….
thank you for the reminder today about leaning on Him. Literally. He’s already provided it. I like that part about the Levites calming everyone down…they knew. They shared their peace.
    good word.

This gave me chills as I read. Yes – If we being evil know how to give good gifts to our children, how much more lavishly does our Father in heaven shower us with Good gifts – for He alone is good! He provides so faithfully – and blesses us with what we need before we even know we needed it. Wow. all I can do is fall to my knees with uplifted hands and say “thank you”.

I needed this reminder today… And especially this: “When you show a lie The Truth
it has no choice but to flee.”

    It is already provided. Amen.

Just walk in…clutching your truth in your hand and walk…
remember in Indiana Jones when he couldn’t see the path and he chucked some dust out on it… it’s there you just need to walk in it.
      Love you.

These little glimpses tease! The pieces look so sweet and lovely. The lessons, even more so. Thank you for taking me along.
