A Warm Place for Growth….or How to Force Branches, a tutorial.

I am all about the organic growth… the natural progression

I love when things unexpected, spring up in my gardens and I can watch it unfold.

But sometimes… when the season drags I need to remember just how good the future will look.

How it will spring up in full bloom…

I need to see where we are going.

direction.

Some sent out doves to bring back olive branches,

it’s always about the branches.

The promise of the future

We need it.

I need to see what will naturally develop in two months… bloom in two weeks.

So I clip the branches and ,without a dove, I dovetail the snipped base…. now it will easily draw up the warm water from the vase.

There they sit…. branches locked up with promise .

For one week they draw up the warm water… I change it once more…reminding them of the  warmth of seasons past… and now onto the future.

Like a Prayer~Fast~Worship… I force the natural progression… nudging it forward with my eagerness.

An idea given… and I am willing to carry it out.

After a week I look closely to see the buds answering the call of the

warm Living water,

the dovetailed branches

and a Son~ny window.

But it’s not me… and I know this…

they just needed a place to answer an ancient need … to bloom and to lift yourself high towards the Son.

They weren’t malnourished… they were just told they were just in the cold….

so they were  just waiting for an opportunity to do what would come natural.

What we need is a place.. A place where we can stand in a stream of warm water and  bloom in what we are to be.

A revival of growth brought on by the Spirit warm on our backs.

We need to be ready to bloom in any season…

sometimes we just need a place safe enough to stand ankle deep in warm Living water.

They just need a place

it can look impossible when you first  hold the dry cold branches… but no worries it isn’t about you

they just need a few provisions and your willingess

… and I am willing.
