Loosened Spring Ground.

March 10, 2012

After the tearing out of the old and working the soil to help loosen the weeds, from last Saturday,
This week it is lovely to go out to ready soil…. an idea of what to expect.
Ready to sing a new song…plant new seeds.
So this week I draw a new line… and more easily then last week, I sow what I hope to reap.

~

In other news I planted some seeds in the garden….(Oh did you think I already had written of gardening! Did you forget what tonight is….Yay!)
Some lovely Swiss Chard went in right at the entrance of the garden.
Across the way on the green bean trellis I planted some Snow Peas.
The man of my dreams is doing a back bending chore of cutting down my army of ornamental grasses.  I am inspired by a post I read on Anna’s site  so I decided to paint out a window.

So it seems fitting that I would paint the little tassle of a grass which waves to me through my circle window. (Are you tired of my pearlicent water paints yet? I am clearly not !)

By tonight it will be gone and my grasses will have army ready buzz cuts.
I know I am ready to March into Spring!

See ya tonight…Don’t worry, you know I will bring you a full report, just like last week!! ~T

Luv the way you painted the delicate grass, looks like lace.
I feel the same as you with the warmer weather now , my mind is wondering beyond the window panes and into the garden. Just bought 2 more peat window boxes and sunflower seeds today and must not forget the veggies this year ; )

When it wont stop raining outside, an artist has to improvise and paint out the window. thank you for your kind comment, being inspired by what Ive done. I wrestle with being good enough- Hear the harsh words ringing in my ears. Keep painting. You are doing beautiful work.
