Like honey on my lips…
Do you know what it is?
Honey?
It is the culmination of thousands of lives working together gathering beauty from over thousands of things and then condensing it all down.
We gather their work,
their collection of beautiful bits from thousands of nodding fleeting flowers.
They don’t complain that they couldn’t carry more… just happy to gather all they could find.
They spend their days reaping from the flowers of the field.
They go expecting provision to be there…every day.
They see the drop of beauty in each moment….even what you deem weeds… they find His provision there.
Once brought back to their community they stash their droplet of blessing…
a drop of a drop of a drop stored deep in perfectly shaped combs. Right behind them another member bringing their collection to pile in.
Other members in their community condensing it all down…removing any moisture… in a race to collect just the truest essence of beauty in a season of their lives.
Then like a holy commune of sorts we collect the “more than enough” from their overly abundant lives.
In a life so rich of claiming Provision there is an excess which happens…enough to give away, to share.
Honey is what you get from gathering all the beauty in life…from looking for it…from going further just to gather it.
Honey is what you get when you spend your days looking for the Provision that is there…it.is.there.
If He provides such a system for the tiny bee……
a life of beauty
a life of more than enough
a life so sweet

Beautiful post. So golden. Nourishing. Sweet.( I know you know that red headed boy needs to eat 1-2 tbsp per day for helping his immune system.) my parents have hives and their honey was purple last year. It was beautiful.
yes.. and it is no surprise he turned the corner on the day we harvested the honey.. all day us chewing on the honey comb.
