Flat Toast with Bacon.

I laid in bed and watched her wrap her arms around his neck.  In his deep morning voice he kissed her and said, “Let’s go downstairs and make momma tea… and you toast with bacon and eggs.”

Just a simple thing for him to say… his groggy six thirty self wasn’t thinking too hard.

She squealed and hugged him hard, “That’s what I prayed for last night, Daddy!  To have breakfast with you and eat flat toast and bacon.”  I looked up from my  warm bed and laughed, “She’s right… she did pray that before she fell asleep.”

Today you are being used all day to prove His love for others.

Today you are being used by Him…because He is thinking of you.

Today He is happy to make you part of His plan … His love manifested.

It’s not always big things, in your eyes… but you never know what makes someone’s heart squeal  to know they were Heard.
