How to change the world
Get close.
Closer.
Gather together,
and get close with them.
share your story… not just the timeline stuff… but the drama…the glory… the things which make you laugh and that time they hurt your feelings…the time when you yelled at your spouse till your face puffed up… and the crazy God love which makes you love people you know hate you…
and then when you share that… you go ahead and share right past that, to the true gritty way it all made you feel.
The feelings which are admirable.. and those you wish you didn’t have… you share it.
Tell someone how you recently learned you aren’t angry about someone hating you… but you are living in fear their lies will make one more person abandon you…. or devulge something simple how a perfectly mowed yard makes your whole day better.
You hear someone else talk about their grit.
You put it out on the table… and everyone looks at you…and you look back.
and
you
you are loved regardless.
You will be amazed at how, in true community they will love you… how they will speak to that lie and make it leave… How they will remind you of your promised provision… Your heart will sing when they celebrate with you the life you have been given.
Things will be broken off of you as you realize how you didn’t work for this… you just opened yourself up to relationship… how a ministry of resting in relationship will offer a glimpse at His heart for His people.
Then without all these weights and guilty feelings which the enemy told you made you “less than”… you all move forward.
When we all allow people to shed the lies they thought about themselves….
When we call out who, we know, He made them to be…
When we do that with each other…
When we let them be their true identity and not the one people gave them…
When we get out of the way and let people be who they were created to be…
We will change the world.
