Burned… or How to Heal

You kept it to yourself… it burns and you didn’t want to show people where it left its’ mark.

You suffered silently… “It wasn’t that big of a deal.  I am big enough to take care of this myself,”you told yourself…

But the next day you were reminded of what happened… you thought you could just forget about it.

It feels uglier today than it did yesterday.

There is a loneliness in suffering silently.

How could something so small hurt like this?

What started out so small now makes you wince when you reach out to take hold of things you want.

You wonder if you can handle it …this taking hold of things you know are yours.

This all has made you shrink away from reaching out.

It’s not too late.

Acknowledge your pain.

It doesn’t make you weak… it makes you smart.

Bring it to One who can take it away.

This healing will speed up when you take your hurt out of hiding…share it with others who you can trust.

He has provided ones who you can trust.

They can come around you and do what you can’t do for yourself.

The loneliness of suffering will dissolve.

He is speaking all the time…even when you have been burned… by whatever or whomever.

Now this healing will come more  quickly.

Now you will be able to help others.

Others are touched by serving… by learning.

Rest in a ministry of being ministered to.
