fall far from a tree.

Like comes from like…

pups from wolves and lambs from sheep…

apples from apple trees and they say it all doesn’t fall far from the tree.

It can be like a curse around your neck.

Can you ever roll far enough from that tree?  All the other apples look the same…they have ended up the same.  Their identity is nearly undetectable from the next apple….

You don’t have to stay the same.

Look deep.

You aren’t the same.

The apple won’t fall far from the tree… is a lie… it’s a spell you can break.

The legacy you were given isn’t the one you need to continue.

He may take you far away from the source.

You may feel like you don’t resemble what you once were… and that is okay.

There may be a feeling of dissemble… but it is only to make you resemble something completely different from where you came.

He has taken the sour out of you and replaced it with a sweetness that is contagious.

He will show you that deep inside He put a sign… you aren’t the same… you are marked by Him.

There is a holiness to being changed, To be resurrected into something new.

You won’t change alone…He will be right there.

The sour …the biting legacy no more.

Your lineage is anew…

the tree you come from now shaped like a cross…

your future is not the same as the old gnarled tree.

You are smooth…sweet… resurrected for a purpose.

  • When fork tender add a heaping teaspoon (or more) of Cinnamon, and splash of vanilla.
  • Turn heat off and add 1/4-1/2 cup sugar (I used 1/4c)
  • Now either grind through a food mill or put the whole shabang into the Vitamixer…
