calm and then chocolate milkshakes.
C really is for calm.
The HusBen is out with the older three at a concert. The guitarist in the band bought a custom guitar from my husband and so they went to see their concert while they are in a nearby city. My kids probably don’t understand that other people don’t generally sit around backstage with the band … but then again it really is all for business ,right? At least that is what they told me when they skipped out the door.
I had such low expectations for this Saturday…. but it has been wonderful. After having a new realization about myself… or rather realizing where I had agreed with a lie that had been told to me endlessly… I feel a new found freedom. Something I have been looking a lifetime for has now been found… isn’t it lovely when that happens. Before everyone left, when there was still someone around to jiggle the baby, me and a few kids painted… again just lovely, as I haven’t gotten to paint in what seems forever. Then to my absolute-giant-smiled-delight a paint set I have had my eye on went on sale and with a birthday gift certificate I snatched it up! It set the tone of the day for sure. So having only five kids today we skittered about town…milkshakes for the ride.
Hi T. wow, you have a busy life and I commend you for what you are doing. I like the calm and your bird is lovely. Happy PPF

Wow what a nice treat finding the paints on sale!! The kids are adorable. Is husben a luthier…my son in law would love that as he repairs many, that being his dream job!
Thanks for sharing your peaceful artwork!
