It is one of my very favorite moments every year. The times where I weed a garden and look up to find my baby (which ever baby) munching a snow or snap pea. It means everything is all right in this world, if just for a time. It means peace and provision. It means a healthy baby … it means a content baby. It means a few moments to just work and think. A few moments where she is slipping into a legacy of women who tended gardens with babies nearby. It means taking on the good legacy and never going back to the bad one. It means about time moving forward… gaining distance on places of abandonment.

It means weeds being plucked out and roots strengthened.
