I learned something wonderful this year.  Something which has changed the face of Christmas for me.  The other day I was looking up the song ,The Twelve Days of Christmas”… and upon reading about it, I discovered that the Christmas season is supposed to happen for the twelve days after Christmas Day.  Advent should be Advent and the Christmas season is after… that is lovely.  You probably already knew that… but this was a wonderful revelation to me.  I always want more fun after Christmas… but it always seemed like we have to switch gears for New Years.  Truth be told I have never been one to stay up late ever, let alone on New Year’s Eve.

So gone is the guilt of all the should have’s or could have’s of December…

and onward to celebrating the Gift that keeps on giving.

I love it all so much more this year!
