Bird’s eye Perspective.

May 18, 2012

The other night I was not feeling well.
While I lay in bed motionless , I kept seeing a beautiful white bird.
It was painted in the style that I normally paint.
I thought, “when I feel better I will love painting this bird.”

Two days later, with me feeling better and the time to invest in another wedding bird…I sat down,
The little bird quickly became laughable.
I shook my head as it started to appear…it was nothing like I saw.
I wanted the vision that I saw to appear..it seemed so doable… but yet to many outside factors were making the result different.

I showed the little bird to a few people and each saw a different thing they liked about it.
The perspective of seeing others appreciate what I tried to recreate from the vision I saw…really set deep with me.
There was still beauty in it…even though it didn’t look like the vision I saw.
My ability isn’t yet where I want it to be… but I still want to get there…so I know I can.
I want to show people the beautiful things I see.

I think we should all know that the dreams…the visions… the desires we have don’t always have to be exactly replicated.

They can be catalysts.

They can be the thing that makes you move,

That makes you want it.

There is so much to learn in the climb,

In each others perspectives along the way.

So true- those catalysts are so powerful and spark so much for me even if it isn’t always what I expect. Your birds are such fun!! Happy PPF!

Very nicely thought out – I like the idea of vision and desire being catalysts…and of course, the birdies!

I love all these wedding birds. They must be wonderful to create, even the ones that don’t match what you see in your head.

All your birds are so wonderful, each has it’s own personality too!! Have you ever considered putting a personality or story to each one…who would they be if they came alive!! I hope you don’t mind my perspective…the first one is timid, the second on curious, and the third may be slightly annoyed, or maybe it’s more protective….not sure!! Very well done! I was just thinking about perspective today too!! Perfect post for me!! Love your birdies…truly special, each and everyone, just like people!!
