Remembering Love.
Today’s 5 minute Friday word is : Remember.
Do you remember the day when you were born and you had done nothing yet on this planet? You just lay there and wiggled. You did nothing much yet.
He loved you.
Do you remember when you were little and you cut everyones hair off in preschool… and only you kept your long pigtails but everyone else went home with asymetrical cuts and spikey bangs?
He loved you.
Do you remember when you were 6 and were mad that you had to blow dry your sisters hair before church…so you sort of let it get really hot on her head?
He loved you.
How about when you were a teenager and you did that thing…and you yelled at your parents loud when they found out…?
He loved you.
Do you remember the day you graduated… such excitement, pride and relief…with some fear.
He loved you.
Remember the day you flipped that test… new life growing.
I tell you He. Loved. You. Still.
Do you recall the day when you were mad at Him… I know, right… you were mad at Him?
He looked straight at you and beamed love.
The day you stood up for yourself.. when all the good people told you to do something else.
He was still in love with you.
The day when you screamed at your kids…and maybe that day it was more about you then what they did…
He still loved you.
Do you know that you know…both in your remember-er and your know-er….
That HE loves you when you did nothing…
when you did what you shouldn’t …and when you did what you should…
There is nothing you can do to make Him love you more… and nothing you can do for Him to love you less….
It’s His love… and it. just. is.
Now what?

Do you need more of His love….
and if you hear nothing else today…let this just sit in your soul….
Sometimes we need to Refocus and realize when we grasp these things… it’s not just for our sake…
