He sends you word… Do you want a word?
I can remember last year when I picked a word.. and it made me roll my eyes.
I was in the thick of a terrible situation… my family and I adrift.
For months afterward He would send the most amazing people to me… and without me asking they would say… I need to give you this word.
He called me out on the water with these words… if I looked any which way but Him, the mob of lies would lash out, swell up and crash against us.
Yet His steady heartbeat could be heard above the lies…. and He kept calling…
My joy will be your strength …. My joy…your strength…
step by step the impossible became possible
my eyes above the fray I could walk across anything
the unstable made Rock solid
Thats what He does… He sends you word.
word that it will be okay
word that He already went ahead
word that you were made in His image
word that He has never failed you and He won’t stop now
word to follow where He leads… and He will make the unstable ; Rock solid.
Here I stand …2013 behind me… and I wouldn’t change it. In the midst of those storms I wanted out so bad… I just wanted to cave and let the lies consume me and compromise it all … just for the fake peace I knew so well… but He had better things in mind for me. He wanted me to know that if He calls my name..if He sends word for me…if He sends His Word to me… He means it… I am worth it.
Now with his heartbeat in my ears… tears in my eyes and the only swell being His joy in my heart… I can tell you I am so joyful… my faith is so much stronger. He sends word and He stands for it!
So this year… when I picked my word… I smiled curiously….Oh what will He do!? But when I got my verse… my joy liquified into tears and I have been bragging ever since of His love… His sweet love for me!
So let’s do this… I have been praying and seeking for weeks just for this season of words and verses… and Here we are on this Day of Epiphany ….
So let’s do this like all the other years.. leave a comment asking for a word… and I will get back to you as soon as He does. (All of you have been emailing me and contacting and leaving comments on other posts about this.. I will try and locate those and get back to you today… if I don’t leave another comment here.) Once you get your word and verse please seek Him to reveal what it means let him have that open dialogue with you… because His heart is for you and you were made to hear His Voice and there is a thirsty part of you that wants it so much. Letting you know more! He is so overwhelming ( in a good way) teaching me new things daily, encouraging me to step out and start a business, giving me a name for it in a dream. Then keeping me open minded to adding more businesses to this small enterprise He has so graciously dropped in my lap. He has really drawn my son to Himself, I love our talks about how much love and provision our King lavishes on us! In the last 2 weeks He has planted a seed of compassion for our small town and the substance abuse problems opening doors for me to be a positive influence and point some very lost sheep to my Great Shepherd. I could go on and on about miracles He has performed…..He loves us so much more then we can fathom.
